1. Waiting on God is hard. At one point in the message the following statement was made: 'You cannot judge God by your calendar. God’s plan does not follow our schedules. His timing might seem completely wrong to us, until it becomes clear that it isn’t.' Does that apply to anything in your life right now?
2. Joy shows up a lot in the first two chapters of Luke: 1:14, 1:44, 1:47, 2:10. How would you rate your JQ (joy quotient) these days? If it’s not what these passages (and the Bible as a whole) suggest it should be what might be the reason for that?
3. How does longing for God show up in your life? Read John 14:23. What does that awaken in you? Does that describe something you desire? Do you believe that can really happen?
