The CrossWay Pastoral Training Course (CPTC) is a three-year program providing church-based training, mentoring, fellowship and ministry experience intended to equip faithful men and their families for pastoral ministry.

Gather around the table each month to talk with a seasoned pastor about pastoral life and character, preaching, and church life.
serve
Serve the church in a meaningful way while inviting others to observe, test, and develop your gifts, calling, and character within this context.
mentorship
Receive guidance, feedback, and encouragement from pastoral mentors through group activities, ministry participation and observation, evaluations,
and one-on-one mentoring sessions.

fellowship
Build relationships with fellow participants, both for present encouragement and for future ministry support. Participate in cohorts, enjoy regular social gatherings with other families, and attend conferences together.

CPTC is intended for men who sense God’s leading toward pastoral ministry or some vocation directly related to pastoral ministry. Applicants must be willing to:
1. Whole-heartedly pursue growth in their understanding of and fitness for pastoral ministry
2. Prepare for and attend all regularly scheduled CPTC meetings
3. Submit themselves to the annual review process
4. Engage in the life of CrossWay

We have developed a mutual agreement with Trinity Evangelical Divinity School that may serve participants who are students at TEDS and require an internship to complete their degree.
