A waiting people (vv. 5-10)
1. Is there something you are waiting for God to do in your life or the life of someone you care about? Please share.
2. What are some specific concrete ways you have seen God fulfill a promise(s) to you?
3. God calls us as his people to “walk blamelessly” (v. 6) before him, even in the midst of longing and pain. Are there ways you have been tempted to “throw in the towel” and give up hoping and praying for something you are eager to see God do? Please share.
A gracious word (vv. 11-17)
1. Are there specific verses from the Bible that God has used to bring comfort and assurance? Please share.
2. How confident are your prayers go to a God who hears, cares, and will answer in his time for your good?
A flawed response (vv. 18-20)
1. Are there promises God has made to you that you feel are simply too good to be true?
