Sermon Application Questions:

1. When you think about membership in a church do you think more about formal membership or about being part of a family?

2. How do you feel about formal membership? Are you thinking about it in light of the spiritual reality it represents or merely as some organizational formality?

3. How does this idea of “belonging” strike you? How important is it to you? Are you experiencing belonging to a local church family as a good gift from God to you?
