Equipped is a 3-hour training for potential Gospel Community leaders.  During the training, Pastor Josh Mathews unpacks the following:

• What is a Gospel Community?
• See the beautiful connection between leaders, Gospel Communities and the Mission of CrossWay.
• Get a view of how a Gospel Community ebbs and flows over a year
• Understand how a Gospel Community functions week in and week out.
• Consider how to go from today to launching your first group.   

Aspiring to become a Gospel Community Leader is a good spiritual desire. We need spiritual leaders to foster the spiritual growth of Crossway members as a family of disciples on mission. The care of people and that role carries certain expectations.
 
Here are some expectations that will be explained discussed on the path to become a gospel community leader.

• Be a member of CrossWay.
• Demonstrate evident and consistent spiritual growth.
• Be a faithful attendee of Gospel Community and Sunday morning services.
• Show love and care for others effectively
• Has the ability to lead discussions, prayer, and accountability sessions
• Possesses a clear understanding of the gospel and familiarity with basic theological categories
• Is aware of and concerned for the spiritual health and needs of others
