You were made to belong. And whether it’s the family you were born into, the company you work for, or the club you join – where you belong says something about who you are. At CrossWay, we believe that the Bible encourages all Christians to belong by being meaningfully involved and committed to a specific local church.
Being a member at CrossWay is about being a part of a family.
How to Become a Member
Step 1: Belong to Christ
We believe that the Church is made up of those who have repented and put their trust in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. All members are followers of Jesus, unified by our identity in Christ. This unity is expressed in the way we love God, fellow Christians, and our city.
Step 2: Attend Vision & Values
Belonging to CrossWay means knowing CrossWay. Vision and Values is the class we’ve created to help newcomers get to know how CrossWay works. It’s a great opportunity for anyone to learn more about us – our history, vision, doctrine, defining values, ministry philosophy and structures. Attending the class doesn’t commit you to anything, but in order to become a member you must attend the full class. We offer it regularly and you can find more info by reaching out to us.
Step 3: Membership Interview
Belonging to CrossWay means CrossWay knowing you. The last step before becoming a member is sitting down for a brief meeting with two of our elders. This can sound intimidating to some people, but we promise it’s not. This meeting gives us a chance to hear your testimony of faith in Jesus. It also gives you a chance to ask any remaining questions.
