Pastor of Student Ministries
I was born in the Chicago suburbs, but spent the first 18 years of my life in 3 different states and 2 different countries. I grew up in a home where the gospel was taught clearly, and God’s word was valued deeply. It wasn’t until middle school that I really understood my sin and need for a savior. When I was in the 8th grade my family moved to Brno, Czech Republic to serve as missionaries and that was a key moment in my faith journey as I was forced to turn to Christ for daily help in a very new way. I met my wife Tabitha in high school (we both attended Black Forest Academy in Kandern, Germany). After graduating high school in 2005, I attended Northern Kentucky University. My primary reason for heading to that area was to attend Grace Fellowship Church. God had used the people of that specific church family to minister to me and my family in such a way that I knew I wanted to be plugged in there. It was at Grace that I grew a deep love for the gospel and the local church and was further convinced that I wanted to serve in full-time vocational ministry. Tabitha and I were married in 2007 and in 2011 I joined the staff team at Grace Fellowship Church as the Director of High School Ministries. In January of 2020, I joined the team here at CrossWay Community Church as the Pastor of Youth Ministries. Tabitha and I, along with our 6 kids, are excited to be a part of what God is doing here at CrossWay and in the Kenosha area.
