This is our last LiNK of the ministry year!
Each year, we ask members to commit to their Gospel Community a year at a time (roughly September through May). Your last meeting is an ideal time to remind and highlight to your group the Annual Commitment. Here are four steps you could take:
Each year, we ask members to commit to their Gospel Community a year at a time (roughly September through May). Your last meeting is an ideal time to remind and highlight to your group the Annual Commitment. Here are four steps you could take:
- Mark it: the last meeting of the year marks the end of their annual commitment. State that.
- Honor it: express gratitude for their commitment. Encourage them.
- Opportunities: lay out for them potential ways forward: (1) staying with the same group for next Fall, (2) consider a different Gospel Community for the Fall, (3) step out of Gospel Communities for the Fall.
- Decision: give them some time to consider these options and get back to you. Usually 2-3 weeks is plenty of time.
